Job summary

Discovery Behavioral Health is seeking a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) to join a compassionate, multidisciplinary team focused on transforming lives through evidence-based nutritional care. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an ACEND-accredited program.
• Completion of a Dietetic Internship.
• CDR licensure and applicable state license.
• One year of experience preferred in dietary services.
• Must obtain CPI certification within 90 days of hire.
• Must obtain CPR, AED, and First Aid, and ServSafe within 30 days of hire.
• Must maintain a valid Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Deliver individualized, evidence-based nutrition care by assessing weight, vitals, labs, and dietary needs.
• Identify weekly treatment goals and align with the interdisciplinary team.
• Facilitate developmental dietary groups for skill-building and behavior change.
• Provide therapeutic meal support and milieu interventions for recovery.
• Collaborate with physicians and psychiatrists for medical/nutritional needs.
• Supervise Diet Technicians when applicable and ensure quality documentation.
