Job summary

County of Siskiyou seeks an executive-level Behavioral Health Administrator to plan, organize, and supervise county-wide mental health and SUD programs. You will oversee clinical and administrative staff, contracts, and budgets while ensuring regulatory compliance.

In this role you will liaise with state agencies, hospital networks, and other departments, preparing executive correspondence and Board letters.

Qualifications

• Licensed professional in California with required advanced degree(s).
• Significant admin experience in behavioral health and budget control.
• Knowledge of HIPAA and 42 CFR Part 2 regulatory requirements.
• Ability to interpret complex contracts and perform data analyses.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, organizing, and evaluating county-wide behavioral health programs.
• Direct and supervise multi-disciplinary clinical and administrative staff.
• Draft and monitor contracts and SLAs with providers and consultants.
• Develop policies, fiscal monitoring systems, and budgets across funding streams.
• Represent the department in boards, community groups, and forums.
