Job summary

Wayne State University is seeking a Behavioral Health Crisis Provider Training Specialist for the School of Social Work at the Detroit campus. The role supports the statewide expansion of crisis response training across Michigan and collaborates with instructors, community partners, and subject matter experts to ensure high-quality program delivery.

Primary duties include coordinating Skills Day trainings, assisting in planning and evaluation, and ensuring all activities comply with MDHHS

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field.
• 3–4 years of related experience; clinical practice in crisis response.
• Licensure in Michigan LMSW/LPCC or LLMSW/LLPC or eligibility for full LMSW/LPC licensure.

Responsibilities

• Support implementation and delivery of the Behavioral Health Crisis Provider Training Program.
• Coordinate Skills Day trainings across Michigan and assist with planning and evaluation.
• Collaborate with instructors, partners, and subject matter experts to ensure high-quality training.
