Job summary

Compass Health, Inc. is seeking a Behavioral Technician (Internal title: Community Living Instructor BHCC) to provide compassionate crisis care at our Behavioral Health Crisis Center. This as-needed, 4 hours weekly role supports individuals in crisis under supervision.

Requires teamwork, safety focus, and hands-on care in a supportive environment. The position offers training and mentorship within a team-based setting, with opportunities to grow in the behavioral health field while delivering

Qualifications

• High School/GED preferred.
• 1+ year experience in psychiatric, nursing, or ER preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide person-centered support during crisis, ensuring daily needs are met.
• Monitor safety and create a supportive environment.
• Participate in medication administration (L1MA training).
• Share observations with the treatment team to enhance care.
• Keep the BHCC environment organized, clean, and welcoming.
• Mentor new staff and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team.
