Integrated Services for Behavioral Health in Southeast, OH is seeking a Credentialing Specialist to manage provider credentialing and related billing operations, primarily for Medicaid.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, credentialing, or related field preferred.
• 1 year credentialing experience in Ohio Behavioral Health Medicaid required.
• 3 years experience using an electronic health record system to process claims preferred.
• Knowledge of community service systems.
• Knowledge of electronic health record systems.
• Excellent communication skills, oral and written.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to operate a motor vehicle.
• Auto insurance coverage required.
• Ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Ability to operate in an Internet-based, automated office environment.
• Must maintain a high-speed internet connection.

Responsibilities

• Maintain provider credentialing files with up-to-date information for payer credentialing apps.
• Track CAQH, PECOS, NPPES, and CMS portals and logins.
• Update provider CAQH files per CMS schedules.
• Complete NPI enrollment applications.
• Terminate enrollments when providers resign.
• Provide updated demographics to external payers with supporting docs.
• Maintain provider profiles in CAQH, PECOS, NPPES, CMS databases.
• Coordinate credentialing, re-credentialing, and contracting with insurers.
• Follow up with payers on credentialing stages.
• Attend trainings; support Billing Department.
