State of Georgia seeks a Behavioral Health Counselor at the Gracewood Campus to support prevention and behavior modification efforts, promoting mental well-being for adults and families.

You will work with individuals and groups addressing addictions, family issues, stress management, self-esteem, aging, and emotional health, under general supervision in a state agency. Background checks are required per state law.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in counseling or related field and two years of job-related experience; or one year at the lower Behavioral Health Counselor 1 level
• Some positions may require certification or licensure.

Responsabilidades

• Counsel individuals and groups to promote mental health and behavior modification.
• Assist with addictions, substance abuse, family, parenting, and marital issues.
• Support suicide prevention, stress management, aging challenges, and self-esteem concerns.
