Job summary

State of Georgia seeks a Behavioral Health Counselor at the Gracewood Campus to support prevention and behavior modification efforts, promoting mental well-being for adults and families.

You will work with individuals and groups addressing addictions, family issues, stress management, self-esteem, aging, and emotional health, under general supervision in a state agency. Background checks are required per state law.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in counseling or related field and two years of job-related experience; or one year at the lower Behavioral Health Counselor 1 level
• Some positions may require certification or licensure.
