Job summary

DeCoach Recovery Centre in Fairborn, OH is seeking a full-time Behavioral Health Counselor (LSW, LPC, LISW, LPCC) to join a collaborative clinical team. You will conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and provide individual and group counseling to clients with substance use and behavioral health challenges.

You'll work with psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, and case managers, maintain thorough documentation, and participate in ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Degree in counseling, social work, or chemical dependency.
• Active state licensure/certification (LPC, LPCC, LSW, LISW, or equivalent).
• Strong communication and ability to build therapeutic rapport.
• Collaborative mindset: works well in a multidisciplinary team.
• Able to manage a caseload independently with supervision when needed.
• Excellent organizational skills and professionalism in a fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to growth as a clinician.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments and build individualized, evidence-based treatment plans
• Provide individual and group counseling using a strengths-based approach
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, and case managers
• Participate in team meetings, case consultations, and supervision
• Grow your practice through ongoing professional development and advancement
• Provide culturally competent, inclusive care for clients from all backgrounds
• Maintain clear, accurate clinical documentation
• Offer crisis intervention and coordinate resources when urgent support is needed
