Job summary

Alpharus Health is seeking a Counseling Liaison in Humble, TX to support behavioral health services at our Atascocita location. The role involves didactic group counseling, client engagement, and documentation to ensure quality care.

Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM in a correctional healthcare setting. The candidate should have a high school diploma or GED, at least 12 months of relevant experience, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• 12+ months experience with clients in residential substance use treatment or correctional settings.
• Valid local Driver's License and clean driving record; 21+ years old.

Responsibilities

• Educate clients through didactic group counseling to support treatment goals and life skills.
• Monitor client behavior, report observations, and coordinate client interaction events.
• Contribute to treatment plans, conflict intervention, and privileges decisions.
• Support Volunteer Services and ensure activities comply with policies and objectives.
• Complete documentation for programming, volunteers, and client participation.
