Job summary

University of South Carolina is seeking a Coordinator of Behavioral Health Services to provide a broad range of counseling and psychological services to students. This role collaborates with the SHWB medical team, leads the Collaborative Care Team, and coordinates outreach and education within a university setting.

The position emphasizes initial diagnostic evaluation, referrals, and evidence-based practice, with opportunities to co-lead groups and participate in department meetings and task

Qualifications

• Effective written and verbal communication skills.

• Familiarity with evidence based mental health treatment in an outpatient setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide a broad range of time-limited counseling and psychological services to students to include individual, couples, and group therapy.
• Responsible for the development, implementation and management of collaborative care program
• Collaborate with leadership and staff to advance the department's mission and strategic goals.
• Engage in professional development activities in alignment with licensure, professional affiliation, and best practice standards.
• Oversee the collection and analysis of data related to the program.
