Job summary

University of South Carolina is seeking a Coordinator of Behavioral Health Services to provide a broad range of counseling and psychological services to students, including initial assessments and referrals within a university health setting.

You will lead the Collaborative Care Team, coordinate care referrals, and partner with SHWB medical providers to improve access to mental health services, while offering crisis support and outreach activities.

Qualifications

• Two years post licensure experience providing direct mental health services.
• Experience in brief intervention, crisis assessment, and group therapy.
• Ability to assess, diagnose, and treat a wide range of clinical concerns.
• Knowledge of electronic health records systems.
• Experience delivering in-person and online/virtual assessment and counseling.

Responsibilities

• Provide a broad range of time-limited counseling and psychological services to students to include individual, couples, and group therapy.
• Responsible for the development, implementation and management of collaborative care program.
• Collaborate with leadership and staff to advance the department's mission and strategic goals.
• Engage in professional development activities in alignment with licensure, professional affiliation, and best practice standards.
• Oversee the collection and analysis of data related to the program.
