Atrium Staffing LLC's client in healthcare technology seeks a Behavioral Health Content Safety Specialist (3rd Shift) to review patient-generated content for risk signals and escalate when needed.

Hours are 9 PM–4 AM EST, part-time with flexible days. You will apply safety protocols, log incidents, and collaborate with clinical, legal, and compliance teams to support a growing 24/7 platform.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in clinical support ops, content moderation, or crisis response.
• Familiar with behavioral health risk indicators (suicidal ideation, self-harm, abuse).
• Strong judgment and emotional resilience for sensitive situations.
• Excellent written communication, clear and empathetic.
• Proficient with Zendesk, Google Docs, Sheets, and dashboards.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with clinical/legal/compliance teams.

Client Overview:

Our client is an established healthcare technology organization focused on expanding access to essential healthcare services. They are currently seeking a Behavioral Health Content Safety Specialist (3rd Shift) to support the expansion of their 24/7 platform and help ensure the safety of patient-generated content.

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$30/hr

Position Overview:

The Behavioral Health Content Safety Specialist (3rd Shift) will review and triage patient-generated content on a digital platform, ensuring appropriate identification and escalation of risk signals such as suicidality, abuse, or harm. The hours for this role are 9 PM to 4 AM EST. This role is part-time with flexibility on which days of the week candidates are able to work. The ideal candidate for this role will be someone flexible to take on various ad-hoc tasks as the team trials their new 24/7 surface area platform.

Responsibilities of the Behavioral Health Content Safety Specialist (3rd Shift):

• Review patient-generated content flagged for crisis, distress, or harm indicators.
• Apply judgment and established protocols to elevate, de-escalate, or resolve cases appropriately.
• Route high-risk cases to internal teams such as clinical operations, legal/compliance, or care coordination.
• Maintain service-level expectations for response times.
• Contribute to refining safety guidelines, taxonomies, and escalation decision trees.
• Use internal tools to log, flag, and follow up on incidents.
• Participate in incident reviews and cross-functional case discussions.
• Provide feedback to improve automated safety detection systems.
• Perform additional ad hoc tasks, including data pulling, ticketing system management, and provider communications.

Required Experience/Skills for the Behavioral Health Content Safety Specialist (3rd Shift):

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in clinical support operations, content moderation, trust and safety, social work, patient advocacy, or crisis response.
• Familiarity with behavioral health risk indicators, including suicidal ideation, self-harm, and abuse.
• Strong judgment and emotional resilience when handling sensitive and ambiguous situations.
• Excellent written communication skills with the ability to communicate clearly, concisely, and empathetically.
• Proficiency with tools such as Zendesk, Google Docs, Google Sheets, and reporting dashboards.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with clinical, legal, and compliance teams.

Preferred Experience/Skills for the Behavioral Health Content Safety Specialist (3rd Shift):

• Experience in HIPAA-regulated environments or healthcare startups.
• Prior experience with crisis hotlines, moderation centres, or behavioral health triage programs.

Education Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree preferred, ideally in Social Work, Psychology, Nursing, Public Health, or a related field.
