Job summary

My Florida Families is seeking a Behavioral Health Consultant OPS to provide expert behavioral health support within the Regional Operations Office. The role requires collaboration with CPIs, dependency case managers, and investigative staff to identify disorders and facilitate treatment pathways.

The ideal candidate will apply evidence-based practices, use motivational interviewing, and coordinate with community providers to ensure timely access to services for families in the region.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in health or human services required.
• Three years of experience treating substance use disorders.
• Valid Class E Driver License.

Responsibilities

• Actively establish relationships with CPIs and educate on behavioral health disorders.
• Educate on use of MAT; provide field and office consultations.
• Partner with investigative staff to assess danger threats and parental capacity.
• Maintain knowledge of community mental health and substance use providers.
• Track referrals and entry into treatment for parents with behavioral health issues.
• Participate in legal and multi-disciplinary meetings.
