My Florida Families is seeking a Behavioral Health Consultant OPS to support the SunCoast Regional Office with expertise in identifying behavioral health needs among parents in the child welfare system, with emphasis on opioid use and substance misuse disorders. Qualifications

• Knowledge of trauma-informed care approaches and motivational interviewing.
• Understanding of child welfare and substance use disorder impacts on parenting.
• Ability to collect, evaluate and analyze data to support operational improvements.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
• Experience coordinating across multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical expertise to identify parents with behavioral health conditions in child welfare systems.
• Consult with CPIs and dependency case managers to increase engagement and access to treatment.
• Educate staff on identification of behavioral health disorders and opioid use concerns.
• Develop referrals and collaborate with community providers to improve access to treatment.
• Track referrals and entry into treatment for parents with behavioral health disorders.
• Participate in legal and multi-disciplinary meetings as needed.
• Perform other duties to meet program goals.
