BIGHORN VALLEY HEALTH CENTER is seeking a full-time Behavioral Health Consultant to join our Belgrade, MT clinic. You will provide comprehensive behavioral health services within an integrated primary care team, including telehealth across sites in Livingston, Bozeman, and Belgrade.

You will evaluate crises, develop care plans, and collaborate with multidisciplinary staff while maintaining confidential records in accordance with policy and regulatory standards.

Qualificações

• Master’s degree or higher in a relevant field with professional licensure.
• Current Montana Licensure as an LCSW, Licensed Clinical Psychologist, LCPC, or LMFT.
• BLS certification on hire and valid driver's license.
• Experience in assessment and treatment planning for common mental health or substance use disorders.

Responsabilidades

• Provide comprehensive behavioral health consultations, assessments, diagnoses, and treatment planning for all ages within primary care.
• Deliver emotional, social, and behavioral support in-person and via telehealth across Livingston, Bozeman, Belgrade sites.
• Evaluate crisis situations, apply interventions, and identify at-risk patients to prevent deterioration.
• Collaborate with primary care and multidisciplinary teams to develop effective intervention strategies.
• Maintain accurate, confidential patient records and adhere to policies and regulations.
• Evaluate and treat patients including walk-ins within licensed scope; refer for specialty evaluation as needed.

About the Role

As a Behavioral Health Consultant at One Health, you will:

• Provide comprehensive behavioral health consultations, assessments, diagnoses, and treatment planning for children, adolescents, adults, and families as part of an integrated primary care team.
• Deliver emotional, social, and behavioral support both in-person and via telehealth across One Health sites in Livingston, Bozeman, and Belgrade.
• Evaluate crisis situations, apply appropriate interventions, and assist in detecting "at-risk" patients to prevent further physical or psychological deterioration.
• Collaborate closely with primary care and multidisciplinary colleagues to develop effective intervention strategies and promote patient-centered care.
• Maintain accurate, confidential, and timely patient records while adhering to professional standards, regulations, and One Health policies.
• Evaluates and treats patients/clients (including walk-ins) within licensed scope of practice; evaluates and treats mental illness and substance abuse, treats or appropriately refers patients, for specialty evaluation and treatment, provides preventive health/lifestyle advice and case management, and provides consultation to other staff.

Qualifications

Required

• Master’s in social work (LCSW) or Professional Mental Health Counseling (LCPC) or Marriage and Family Counseling (LMFT) or PhD in Clinical Psychology
• Current Montana Licensure as a LCSW or Licensed Clinical Psychologist or LCPC, or LMFT OR
• BLS Certification upon hire

• Assessment and treatment planning for common mental health and/or substance use disorders, when appropriate
