GENERAL OVERVIEW
Provides comprehensive evaluation and treatment of acute psychiatric patients.
- Provides individual, group and family therapy with assigned patients. (70%)
- Conducts an individual comprehensive evaluation for assigned patients. (10%)
- Completes all documentation according to regulatory requirements (e.g. treatment plans, progress notes). (10%)
- Attends all required departmental/hospital meetings. (10%)
- Performs other duties as assigned or required.

Qualifications
Minimum
- Master's degree in a relevant field
- Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists (LMFT) or other Behavioral Specialist license
- CPR – American Heart Association
- Act 34 Criminal Background Clearance Certificate
- Act 33 Child Abuse Clearance Certificate
- Act 73 FBI Fingerprinting Criminal Background Clearance Certificate
Preferred
- Older Adults Protective Services Act (OAPSA) clearance
- Prior counseling experience in a behavioral health setting
