Qualifications

• Master’s degree required in a related field.
• Licensure in GA (LCSW, LPC, LMSW, or LAPC) required.
• Experience with substance use disorders and co-occurring conditions preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conducts comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments for Detox and Residential SUD services.
• Establishes DSM-5 diagnoses and determines ASAM level of care.
• Synthesizes clinical information into clear, concise documentation to support decisions.
• Supports screening, intake processes, and admissions coordination.
• Provides crisis intervention, including suicide risk assessment and safety planning.
• Develops initial treatment plans and updates them as needed.
• Facilitates discharge planning and transition of care.
