GENERAL OVERVIEW:

Provides comprehensive evaluation and treatment of acute psychiatric patients.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Provides individual, group, and family therapy with assigned patients. (70%)
2. Conducts comprehensive individual evaluations for assigned patients. (10%)
3. Completes all documentation according to regulatory requirements (e.g., treatment plans, progress notes). (10%)
4. Attends all required departmental/hospital meetings. (10%)
5. Performs other duties as assigned or required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum

• Master's degree in a relevant field
• Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or other Behavioral Specialist license
• CPR – American Heart Association
• Act 34 Criminal Background Clearance Certificate
• Act 33 Child Abuse Clearance Certificate
• Act 73 FBI Fingerprinting Criminal Background Clearance Certificate

Preferred

• Older Adults Protective Services Act (OAPSA) clearance
• Prior counseling experience in a behavioral health setting
