Job summary

Noble Community Clinics is seeking a Behavioral Health Clinician II for school-based work in Sheboygan County. You will provide comprehensive therapy to children, adolescents, and families in clinic and school settings, with emphasis on trauma-informed care and integrated behavioral health.

Successful candidates will hold a Master’s in a relevant field and Wisconsin licensure (LCSW, LPC, or LMFT), plus experience with CBT, motivational interviewing, and coordination with schools and community

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or LMFT/LCSW/LPC required.
• Wisconsin licensure (LCSW, LPC, or LMFT) required.
• Experience with children, adolescents, and families preferred.
• BLS certification required and credentialing/background checks required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct biopsychosocial assessments and diagnostic evaluations.
• Provide individual, family, couples, and group therapy.
• Develop and monitor person-centered treatment plans using SMART goals.
• Deliver evidence-based interventions (CBT, Motivational Interviewing, trauma-informed care).
• Provide psychoeducation and disease self-management counseling.
• Address substance use and harm reduction with patients.
• Coordinate care with schools, families, providers, and community agencies.
• Provide crisis intervention and support during acute episodes.
• Assist with accessing housing, food security, transportation, benefits, and social services.
• Maintain EPIC EHR documentation and participate in weekly clinical meetings.

Position Summary

The Behavioral Health Clinician II – School Based delivers comprehensive therapeutic services to patients in a clinic and school-based setting. This role provides assessment, diagnosis, counseling, psychotherapeutic intervention, substance use treatment, rehabilitation services, and care coordination for children, adolescents, adults, and families.

The ideal candidate is passionate about trauma-informed care, integrated behavioral health, and improving access to mental health services within schools and the community.

Essential Responsibilities

• Conduct biopsychosocial assessments and provide diagnostic evaluations
• Provide individual, family, couples, and group therapy services
• Develop and monitor person-centered treatment plans utilizing SMART goals
• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions including:
  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
  • Motivational Interviewing
  • Trauma-informed care approaches
  • Behavioral and stress management interventions
• Provide psychoeducation and disease self-management counseling
• Assess and address substance use concerns and harm reduction strategies
• Coordinate care with schools, providers, families, and community agencies
• Provide crisis intervention and support during acute behavioral health episodes
• Assist patients with access to housing, food security, transportation, benefits, and other social support services
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation within EPIC EHR
• Participate in weekly clinical meetings and interdisciplinary collaboration
• Educate patients and families regarding diagnosis, treatment, and recovery processes

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in: Social Work; Counseling; Psychology; or Marriage & Family Therapy
• Wisconsin licensure required: LCSW; LPC; or LMFT
• Experience working with children, adolescents, and families preferred
• Strong knowledge of mental health disorders, psychotropic medications, and behavioral interventions
• Experience providing cognitive and behavioral interventions for behavioral health and substance use disorders
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills
• Ability to work effectively within an interdisciplinary care team
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required
• Must successfully complete provider credentialing, privileging, and background screening requirements
