~ Per Diem / Hybrid - Onsite and Remote Flexibility ~

Requires Maine state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Masters Social Worker - Clinical Conditional (LMSW-CC), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor - Conditional (LCPC-c), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist - Conditional (LMFT-c).

  • Attend weekly clinical team meetings for ongoing support and integrated treatment.

Summary

Level I: Provides comprehensive care and support to clients with behavioral health needs under conditional license. Responsibilities include assessments, treatment planning, and direct care through individual, group, and family therapy. Maintains clinical records, collaborates with community providers, and participates in team meetings for effective treatment and discharge planning. Works under direct supervision to achieve independent licensure.

Level II: Provides comprehensive care and support to clients with behavioral health needs under an independent license. Responsibilities include assessments, treatment planning, and direct therapy through individual, group, and family sessions.

Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

  • Master’s Degree in Social Work, Clinical Counseling, Addiction Treatment, or related field.
  • Level I: LMSW-cc, LCPC-c, or LMFT-c from Maine’s licensing board. Level II: Licensed LCPC, LCSW, or LMFT from Maine’s licensing board.
  • Level I: Behavioral health experience including internship prior to conditional licensure. Level II: At least two years of behavioral health experience, including employment as a conditionally licensed clinician.
