Maine state licensure to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Masters Social Worker - Clinical Conditional (LMSW-CC), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor - Conditional (LCPC-c), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist - Conditional (LMFT-c) is required.
MaineHealth Behavioral Health is seeking a dedicated and passionate Behavioral Health Clinician to provide counseling services to individuals seeking substance use and drug addiction treatment at our Biddeford Partial Hospitalization Program.
We strive to form a positive working relationship that recognizes individual strengths and builds self-awareness. Our programs are based on evidence-based, client-centered treatments, assisting people wherever they are in their recovery.
Level I: The Behavioral Health Clinician I, working under a conditional license, provides comprehensive care and support to clients with behavioral health needs. Responsibilities include conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and providing direct care through individual, group, and family therapy sessions. The clinician maintains clinical records, collaborates with community providers, and participates in team meetings for effective treatment and discharge planning. This role is under direct clinical supervision to work towards independent licensure.
Level II: The Behavioral Health Clinician II, working under an independent license, provides comprehensive care and support to clients with behavioral health needs. Responsibilities include conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and providing direct care through individual, group, and family therapy sessions.
