LifeWays Access/Crisis Department is seeking a Clinician to provide culturally competent behavioral health services to consumers seeking access to care in Michigan. The role involves trauma-informed assessment, crisis intervention, and linkage to Medicaid/MIChild or SABG services as needed.

The position requires a Master’s degree and appropriate licensure, with a strong emphasis on collaboration, customer service, and crisis management within a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree required for Clinician I–III.
• LLMSW/LMSW or LLPC/LPC or LP licensure options are specified.
• Must possess a valid U.S. motor vehicle operator’s license.

Responsibilities

• Works collaboratively across the agency and within the team.
• Builds and maintains relationships with community partners and constituents.
• Screens individuals in crisis and ensures timely attention.
• Completes an Intake Assessment to determine Medicaid eligibility and related services.
• Maintains regular and predictable attendance.
• Provides backup to Access and Crisis Services.
