Job summary

CNS Healthcare in Michigan is seeking a Mental Health Urgent Care Clinician to conduct crisis evaluations and guide individuals to non-emergency care. The role emphasizes trauma-informed, culturally competent care, motivational interviewing, and collaborative treatment planning.

You will work in a community-based clinic, maintain required documentation, and participate in quality improvement initiatives while supporting employee benefits and PT0 adjustments.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree required and appropriate licensure for clinical work.
• Experience in mental health case management and human services.
• Knowledge of crisis intervention and clinical compliance practices.

Responsibilities

• Be present in the clinic each day and provide crisis evaluation.
• Perform triage to determine level of care and document assessments.
• Engage with patients and families using motivational interviewing.
• Develop relapse prevention and crisis plans with resources.
• Complete required documentation accurately and on time.
• Collaborate with the Customer Care Team as a clinical point of contact.
• Support quality improvement initiatives and professional growth.
• Maintain compliance with MU, MIPS, CARF, and CCBHC standards.
