Job summary

MaineHealth Accountable Care Organization in Westbrook, ME is seeking a Behavioral Health Clinician I to provide assessments, develop treatment plans, and deliver individual, group, and family therapy under conditional licensure.

Under supervision, you will maintain clinical records, collaborate with community providers, participate in team meetings, and support discharge planning toward independent licensure. A Master’s degree and a conditionally licensed credential are required.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in a related field (MSW, MFT, etc.).
  • LMSW-cc, LCPC-c, or LMFT-c licensure from Maine OPOR.
  • Behavioral health internship experience prior to licensure.

Summary:
The role of Behavioral Health Clinician I, working under a conditional license, involves providing comprehensive care and support to clients with behavioral health needs. The key responsibilities include conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and providing direct care through individual, group, and family therapy sessions. The counselor is also responsible for maintaining clinical records, collaborating with community providers, and participating in team meetings to ensure effective treatment and discharge planning. The Behavioral Health Clinician I will be under direct clinical supervision to work towards independent licensure.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

  • Education: Master’s Degree in Social Work, Clinical Counseling, Addiction Treatment, or related field
  • License/Certifications: LMSW-cc, LCPC-c, or LMFT-c from the respective licensing board of the State of Maine Office of Professional and Occupational Regulation (OPOR).
  • Experience: Behavioral health experience including internship prior to becoming a conditionally licensed clinician.

The pay range for this position is $66,123.20to $89,481.60per year.

Compensation for part-time positions isdeterminedon a prorated basis consistent with the scheduled hours and applicable full-time equivalent (FTE).
