Job summary

Family Care Center, a nationally expanding behavioral health provider, is hiring an independently licensed clinician in Mesa, AZ. The role provides counseling and mental health services, including evaluation and treatment, with access to AI-assisted documentation and a multidisciplinary team.

You will work without on-call, weekends, or evening hours, with strong support staff and opportunities for professional growth through research and continuing education.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
• State licensure as LCSW, LPC, or LMFT required.
• Arizona applicants: NCE or NCMHCE required.
• Registered play therapist preferred.
• 2 years of relevant experience with adult, geriatric and/or child/adolescent populations.

Responsibilities

• Implements counseling/therapy for assigned patients in both individual and group settings.
• Determines, provides and/or arranges for needed internal and external services/interventions.
• Assists with discharge planning and coordinates resources with the care team.
• Trains new staff, students and interns as assigned.
• Within scope of job, works in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
