Job summary

Clinica Sierra Vista seeks a Clinical Supervisor-BH in Lamont to provide psychotherapy to a 5–10 client caseload, oversee clinical staff, and help manage Behavioral Health operations. The role includes supervising associates/interns, coordinating staff flow, and reporting on performance measures to meet Medi-Cal/Medicare and Joint Commission standards.

You will also maintain direct patient care 1–2 days, promote the BH department’s mission, ensure timely documentation, and contribute to training

Qualifications

• License in good standing with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences (LCSW/LMFT/LPCC) or California Psychology licensure.
• At least 3 years’ experience in a specialty mental health setting.
• Two years post-licensure with ability to provide clinical supervision preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide psychotherapy to a caseload of 5–10 clients, including high acuity cases.
• Provide clinical direction and supervision to staff and supervisee clinicians as needed.
• Assist in organization and management of staff and patient flow in Behavioral Health Center.
• Collaborate with Clinical Manager to report performance outcomes and ensure contract, Medi‑Cal/Medicare compliance.
• Maintain direct client care 1–2 clinic days and support during staff shortages.
• Promote Clinica Sierra Vista Behavioral Health mission to staff and community.
• Ensure timely and accurate documentation of clinical work by providers.
• Assist with safety, cleanliness, and welcoming environment across BH settings.
• Inform Clinical Manager of care concerns and site/staff issues.
• Support strategic planning, training, and program growth within BH.
• Comply with BH policies and maintain confidentiality.
