Job summary

Bon Secours Mercy Health seeks a Registered Charge Nurse to deliver nursing care within the Ohio/Kentucky Nurse Practice Act, lead on-site clinical activities in Behavioral Health Units, and supervise unit staff.

The role requires 2+ years as an RN in psychiatric acute care, BLS, and de-escalation training within 90 days. You’ll coordinate daily operations, ensure patient flow, and partner with community services.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years’ experience as a registered nurse in a psychiatric acute care setting.
• Basic Life Support Certification required.
• De‑Escalation Training required within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Lead nurse coordinating daily on-site clinical activities in Behavioral Health Units.
• Provide direct nursing care and supervise unit staff.
• Facilitate admissions, discharges, patient flow, and staff meetings.
• Serve as liaison between nursing team and community partners.
• Invest time to improve processes and staff development.
