Qualifications

• Minimum three years of RN Clinical Nursing or social worker experience in the behavioral health field.

Responsibilities

• Perform precertification and ongoing review of external outpatient Behavioral Health services.
• Develop discharge care plans with inpatient and outpatient staff; arrange follow-up appointments.
• Coordinate referrals to Complex Case Managers as appropriate and assist in policy/procedure communications.
• Ensure appropriate level of care delivery across settings based on criteria and guidelines.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and protect PHI while interacting with medical staff and members.
