Memorial Regional Hospital is seeking a Psychiatric Assistant to work under nursing supervision and provide direct patient care in a safe, therapeutic environment. You will assist with activities of daily living, monitor belongings, and help manage unit supplies on the psychiatric unit.

Role requires critical thinking, ability to work under stress, and adherence to safety rounds and documentation practices as described in the unit guidelines.

Formación

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Current BLS for Healthcare Providers or equivalent CPR certification.
• BLS certificate specifics as listed by the American Heart Association.

Responsabilidades

• Assists patients with activities of daily living.
• Monitors patient belongings and inventory.
• Manages unit supplies and stock.
• Observes and records patient behavior and activities.
• Reports changes in condition to nursing staff and suggests plan modifications.
• Provides crisis intervention on the unit to maintain safety.
• Delivers or assists with direct patient care and therapeutic interventions.
