Job summary

Rite of Passage at Canyon State Academy in Queen Creek, Arizona is seeking a Billing and Collections Specialist. You will manage full-cycle outpatient behavioral health billing, from charge entry to payment posting, and follow-up on AR to maximize timely reimbursement.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in healthcare billing or collections, familiarity with Medicaid/MCO guidelines, and strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform full-cycle outpatient behavioral health billing and follow-up.
• Post payments and reconcile discrepancies.
• Submit claims to Medicaid, MCOs, and commercial payers.
• Review codes, authorizations, and eligibility for accurate billing.
• Maintain compliant billing records and HIPAA.
• Meet billing and collection productivity goals.
