Job summary

Knox Public Health is seeking a compassionate Behavioral Health professional to provide outpatient counseling and collaborate with medical providers to improve overall health and well-being. The role emphasizes individualized treatment and coordinated care within a team.

Ideal candidates hold Ohio licenses such as LSW, LPC, LISW, or LPCC, or are actively pursuing licensure; licensure pathways and ongoing professional growth are supported in a collaborative, public service environment.

Qualifications

• Ohio licenses listed above or actively working toward advanced licensure are welcome.
• Candidates must hold or pursue one of the Ohio licenses listed (LSW, LPC, LISW, LPCC and variants).
• Commitment to collaborative, patient-centered behavioral health care is desired.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychosocial assessments.
• Diagnose and treat mental and emotional health conditions.
• Provide individual counseling and psychotherapy.
• Develop and monitor individualized treatment plans.
• Track client progress and adjust care as needed.
• Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation.
• Manage an assigned caseload.
• Collaborate with medical providers and fellow behavioral health professionals.
• Connect patients with community resources and specialty services.

Position Summary:

As a member of our Behavioral Health team, you'll provide comprehensive outpatient counseling services while partnering with medical providers and community resources to improve the overall health and well-being of our patients.

Your day may include:

• Providing individual counseling and psychotherapy
