Job summary

Willow Creek Behavioral Health in Green Bay, Wisconsin, seeks a Full Time Behavioral Health Associate (Days) to support the treatment team under licensed nurse supervision. Hours 6:00am-6:30pm; includes every other weekend and holiday rotation.

Starting at $17/hr based on experience and education; onsite facility. Responsibilities include monitoring patient behaviors, providing continuous patient care, assisting in data collection, and responding to crises.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent required.
• Six months or more experience working with the specific population preferred.
• Knowledge of common psychiatric disorders and/or dual diagnosis and various treatment modalities of the population served preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensures the wellbeing of patients and provides a safe environment under direction of charge nurse or supervisor.
• Maintains constant supervision of patients.
• Assists with activities of daily living and basic patient care tasks.
• Performs safety checks and follows supervision guidelines.
• Records vital signs and reports changes to the clinical team.
• Charts in patient records timely and accurately.
• Assists with crisis de-escalation and, if needed, restraints with proper procedures.
