Job summary

Meadows Behavioral Health seeks a Behavioral Health Associate to support a multidisciplinary treatment team, monitor patient behaviors, document data, and assist in crisis interventions. The role emphasizes safe, structured care and active engagement with patients.

You will participate in treatment planning, coordinate with the Clinical Director and other providers, and help with admissions, discharges, and patient activities while maintaining accurate records.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in behavioral science or related field preferred.
• High School Diploma/GED required.
• One years' experience working in a behavioral health care facility preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensures the well-being of patients and maintains a safe, structured environment.
• Interacts with patients, observes behaviors, and reports significant observations to the treatment team.
• Intervenes in crisis situations (suicidal or threatening behavior) using approved methods.
• Participates in implementation of the individualized plan of care under supervision of the Clinical Director.
• Assists with admission and discharge of patients and coordinates activities with the care team.
