Job summary

NeuroPsychiatric Hospitals in Clear Lake, TX is seeking a Behavioral Associate to join our team of dedicated professionals. You will work with physicians, nurses and other healthcare staff to provide direct behavioral care to patients with psychiatric conditions and complex medical needs.

You will identify high-risk patients, perform safety rounds, assist with restraints when needed, and participate in de-escalation training and team debriefings.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associate's degree or coursework in psychology/social services preferred.
• Prior experience in a behavioral health setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify high risk patients and support safety plan interventions.
• Conduct environmental/patient safety rounds and monitor during emergencies.
• Assist in de-escalation and safety interventions with staff.
• Participate in shift hand-offs, rounds, and team meetings.
• Provide direct patient care and observation as assigned.
