The Behavioral Health Assistant at Texas Health and Human Services Commission will work in the Corpus Christi State Supported Living Center, supporting residents with intellectual and developmental disabilities and complex medical needs. You will assist in creating and implementing plans, collecting data, and training staff to deliver positive behavioral supports.

This role requires collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, adherence to safety and privacy standards, and the ability to adapt

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with major coursework in psychology or a related field is preferred.
• Experience in psychological work and ability to collaborate with an interdisciplinary team.
• Willingness to pass background checks and work overtime, weekends or holidays as needed.

Responsabilités

• Assist in the development of treatment and training strategies (SAPs/PBSPs) and baseline data.
• Collect, enter, tabulate, and report behavioral data and assessments.
• Train direct care staff in PBSPs and SAPs and provide related sessions.
• Attend interdisciplinary team meetings and support care plans.
