Job summary

Triangle Springs, part of Lifepoint Health, is a behavioral health hospital in Raleigh seeking an Assessment Supervisor to lead clinical assessments and admissions processes. The role emphasizes accurate documentation, staffing, and staff coaching to support high-quality patient care.

The position requires nursing or social work licensure, CPR and CPI within 30 days, and a strong focus on customer service and compliance with admission procedures.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Nursing required or Master's in Social Work/Counseling.
• Current unencumbered clinical, social work, or RN license.
• CPR certification and CPI training within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates response to requests for services, including the initial response, assessment and referral process, designation of level of care, admission into services and follow-up activity.
• Conducts initial evaluation, initiates the assessment, documents patient symptoms and needs, and provides information to MD for LOC determination.
• Demonstrates excellent customer service to patients, physicians, visitors and coworkers in a prompt and courteous manner.
• Maintains all pre-admission and admission paperwork with accuracy and completes all pre-certification with insurance companies.
• Ensures appropriate staffing for shift and minimizes overtime.
• Educates and coaches staff and acts as a point person for clinical decisions.
• Reports all issues and incidents to the Director with appropriate follow-up.
