Job summary

Community Services Group is seeking a Behavioral Health Advisor in Coal Township, PA. You will help individuals with mental health diagnoses live more independently, developing recovery plans and utilizing community resources to support integration and independence.

The role emphasizes trauma-informed care, collaboration with families and agencies, and ongoing training to enhance skills. A high school diploma, valid driver’s license, and ability to work flexible hours are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency required.
• A valid driver’s license and access to reliable vehicle to attend trainings and transport individuals.
• Able to work flexible hours including afternoons, evenings, weekends and overnight shifts if needed.

Responsibilities

• Participate in development and implementation of each individual’s Treatment/Support/Recovery Plan.
• Assist individuals in managing symptoms and developing their own recovery plan.
• Help individuals build skills to live independently in the community.
• Promote community integration and independence with community resources.
• Communicate with on-site team, families, agencies and community.
