Job summary

Community Services Group is seeking empathetic Behavioral Health Advisors to support adults with mental health diagnoses in Steelton and Highspire, PA. You will help clients live more independently, apply recovery principles, and collaborate with families and the community in a supportive residential program.

The role emphasizes skill-building, trauma-informed care, and cultural and language access. Afternoon/evening/weekend shifts include overnight coverage, with payscale starting at $20.50 per

  • One of the following combinations of education and experience is required.
  • High school diploma or equivalency with related experience or education.
  • Bachelor's degree in human services or related field is acceptable.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in development and implementation of each individual's Treatment/Support/Recovery Plan.
  • Assist individuals in managing symptoms and building personal recovery plans.
  • Help individuals develop skills for living independently in the community.
  • Utilize community resources to promote integration and independence.
  • Coordinate with on-site team, families, and agencies to share relevant information.
  • Assist with arranging medical care and follow health recommendations.

If you thrive in a supportive environment and enjoy working with people, this is the perfect opportunity for you.As a Behavioral Health Advisor at CSG, you have the opportunity to assist adults with mental health diagnoses to live more independently and to adjust to life as an independent member of their community while integrating the philosophies of recovery and resiliency.This position is part of our Adult Mental Health (MH) Services’ Residential Programs in Steelton and Highspire, PA. These programs are designed to support adults with serious mental illness to live successfully in their home communities. In these programs you provide skill-building rehabilitation.Our shifts are primarily afternoons, evenings, and weekends, offering flexibility and the chance to be there when our clients need it most. Current openings include:PRN/Zero Scheduled Hours (approximately 10 - 20 flexible hours per week) | afternoons, evenings, overnights, and weekends.HighspirePT (30 hrs) Th - Sa 10pm - 8am; awake overnights.PT (30 hrs) Su - Tu 10pm - 8am; awake overnights.Wage Information:Base rate $20.50/hr. Education and experience is taken into account for potential higher starting rates.
