Job summary

AWARE is seeking a compassionate Behavioral Health Day Treatment Direct Care Professional to support adults with SDMI in Hamilton, MT. This full-time role focuses on providing structured therapeutic activities and skill-building to promote mental health stability and independence.

Under supervision, you’ll collaborate with clinical teams, document progress, and help participants gain coping and daily living skills. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
• Must have or obtain a Montana Driver's License and clean driving record.
• Background check and regulatory requirements apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide structured individual and group therapeutic activities promoting stability, independence, and growth.
• Help clients develop coping, emotional regulation, socialization, daily living, and vocational skills.
• Implement treatment interventions and monitor progress toward goals.
• Maintain a safe environment and respond to behavioral health crises.
• Collaborate with clinical teams, families, and community partners for coordinated care.
• Complete timely clinical documentation meeting program expectations and regulatory requirements.
• Attend required trainings, staff meetings, and ongoing professional development.
