Job summary

RCA - Recovery Centers of America Management Company is seeking an Admissions Coordinator to facilitate and evaluate therapeutic, medical and financial arrangements for incoming patients. You will orient new admissions, input data, determine eligibility and coordinate referrals, ensuring timely responses to patient needs.

The role involves collecting performance data, assisting with crisis intervention, and supporting counselors and staff in admission processes within a behavioral health setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in psychology or related field, or an Associate/High School diploma with related experience.
• CADC certification required.
• Knowledge of HIPAA policies and procedures.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to establish effective working relationships that foster organizational success.
• Quality of work: accuracy and thoroughness under deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate admissions by orienting patients and inputting data into the system.
• Determine financial eligibility and respond promptly to patient needs.
• Coordinate referrals and intake, assess level of care, and communicate with stakeholders.
• Collect and analyze data related to departmental performance indicators.
• Assist with admission searches, safety searches, and crisis intervention as needed.
• Support counselors and senior staff in crisis situations.
