Job summary

County of Nevada seeks a Clinical Administrator to support the Behavioral Health Department, providing leadership on initiatives such as mobile crisis services and juvenile/youth benefits while coordinating with staff and external partners.

The role requires a Master’s degree in a related field and five years of managerial experience, plus California licenses. This is a full-time, fully benefited management-level position with telework options and comprehensive county benefits.

Qualifications

• Master's degree from an accredited college or university in psychology, counseling, social work or field related to one of the previously mentioned, AND five years of experience in the program area with significant managerial or administrative responsibilities.
• Possession of a valid California license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker; Marriage, Family Therapist; or Psychologist (with an earned doctorate degree in psychology, educational psychology, education with a field of specialization in counseling psychology or education with a field of specialization in educational psychology); or, a valid California license as a Professional Clinical Counselor.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership on critical department initiatives such as mobile crisis services, criminal justice programs, new benefits for children and youth and other new mandates.
• Convene key clinical staff and stakeholders to design programs in accordance with state guidance.
• Provide clinical oversight to the adult, children, and crisis systems to ensure quality outcomes.
• Oversee fiscal monitoring, contract planning, program improvement and quality oversight.
• Represent the department in various internal and external settings.
