Job summary

SalusCare, Inc is seeking a staff member to coordinate weekly group activities for Acute Care patients, provide training, and support rehabilitative programming. Experience with electronic health records and crisis intervention is preferred.

Applicants must have either a high school diploma with 5 years in a human service field or a BA/BS in a human service field, and experience documenting in clinical records is a plus.

Qualifications

• HS diploma and 5 years of experience in a human service field OR BA/BS in a human service field.
• Experience developing activities or facilitating individual/group therapeutic activities preferred.
• Experience documenting in a clinical record also preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Behavioral Health Tech and Nursing staff to establish a weekly schedule of group activities, psycho-educational groups, motivational groups, and arts/craft activities for Acute Care patients.
• Provides meaningful training, education, and group activities with patients.
• Assists and maintains the development of the rehabilitative programming for the unit.
