Job summary

SalusCare, Inc. seeks an activities coordinator to plan and run weekly group activities, psycho-educational groups, and arts/craft sessions for Acute Care patients. You will collaborate with Behavioral Health Tech and Nursing staff to schedule programming and deliver meaningful training and engagement.

Requirements include a HS diploma with 5 years in human services or a BA/BS in a related field; experience documenting in clinical records is preferred. Dual diagnosis experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• HS diploma and 5 years of experience in a human service field OR BA/BS in a human service field. Experience developing activities or facilitating individual/group therapeutic activities preferred.
• Experience documenting in a clinical record also preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Behavioral Health Tech and Nursing staff to establish a weekly schedule of group activities, psycho-educational groups, motivational groups, and arts/craft activities for Acute Care patients.
• Provide meaningful training, education, and group activities with patients.
• Assist and maintain the development of the rehabilitative programming for the unit.
