Job summary

Youth Advocate Programs, Inc. in Mercer County seeks a Behavioral Consultant (BC) and Mobile Therapist (MT) with a Master’s degree in counseling, psychology, or social work to deliver targeted behavioral health services to children, youth, and families in home, school, and community settings.

The position covers Grove City, Mercer, and Greenville areas with duties including direct therapy, treatment plan development, and implementation.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in counseling, psychology, or social work.
• Licensed staff (LBS, LSW, LMSW, or LPC) or staff with a BS licensure is required.
• Experience providing therapeutic services to children/adolescents.
• At least 1 year of experience in behavioral health services.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; experience with an EHR system.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license required.
• Spanish-speaking ability is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver individualized behavioral health services to children, youth, and families in home, school, and community settings.
• Provide direct therapy and counseling; develop and implement treatment plans.
• Operate in Grove City, Mercer, and Greenville areas; adhere to YAP philosophy and core principles.
• Opportunity for licensed supervision; maintain flexibility in hours and travel reimbursements.

Status: Part Time Hourly

FLSA Classification: Non-Exempt

Summary of the Position: Mercer County Program is looking for a Behavioral Consultant (BC) and Mobile Therapist (MT) candidate holding a Master’s Degree in counseling, psychology, or social work.

• This is a hands-on position, delivering individualized behavioral health services to children, youth, and families in home, school, and community settings.
• Services provided in the Grove City, Mercer, and Greenville Areas
• Duties include but not limited to direct therapy/counseling, treatment plan development and implementation of treatment plans.
• The person in this position adheres to and carries out the YAP philosophy, mission, and core principles.
• Opportunities for licensed supervision may be available.
• Position offers flexible hours, competitive weekly pay, and mileage/activity reimbursement.

Availability: Flexible hours up to 40 hours per week.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Master’s Degree in counseling, psychology, or social work
• Licensed Staff (LBS, LSW, LMSW, or LPC) or staff with BS Licensure is required
• Experience providing therapeutic services to children/adolescents
• At least 1 year of experience in behavioral health services
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic computer skills. Experience using an Electronic Health Record (EHR) System.
• Positions require reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and current auto insurance
• Bilingual (Spanish speaking) is a plus.
