Job summary

Washington County Mental Health Services (WCMHS) is seeking a Behavior Consultant (BCBA) to help children and youth overcome emotional and behavioral challenges in school and community settings. This hourly role emphasizes evidence-based ABA practices, individualized supports, and collaboration with families and educators to promote stability, confidence, and skill development.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children and youth with significant emotional/behavioral challenges.
• Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis principles and practical application.
• Experience in school settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct and direct behavioral assessments for referred children and youth under supervision.
• Develop, implement, monitor, and revise individualized behavior support plans.
• Train and supervise staff in behavior plan implementation and evaluation.
• Provide ongoing consultation to case managers and interdisciplinary team members.
• Guide families as directed and coordinate with educational staff.
