Job summary

Community Partners in Action, Inc. is seeking an Intervention Specialist for the HAIC program in Hartford, CT. The role supports adults involved with the Connecticut criminal justice system through CBT-based interventions and case management to reduce recidivism.

The candidate should have a related bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, with bilingual English/Spanish preferred, and be able to work some evenings. Comprehensive benefits and PTO are offered as part of a mission-driven team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 4 years of education/experience in social services or criminal justice.
• Experience with CBT group facilitation and case management preferred.
• Bi-lingual English/Spanish is preferred; strong communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Prepares, plans, and facilitates individual and group training sessions.
• Meets with clients individually to ensure understanding of services.
• Performs case management functions as directed.
• Maintains accurate written and verbal communications.
• Conducts booster and make-up sessions and monitors client motivation.
• Maintains client boundaries and promotes pro-social behavior.
