Job summary

Maxim Healthcare in Oakland is hiring for a Behavioral Caregiver to work with children and/or adults with developmental delays and challenging behaviors. Starting pay is $26-$28 per hour.

Provide one-to-one behavior intervention, assist with daily activities and personal care, and help implement data collection under the Behavior Support Plan. Maxim offers comprehensive benefits and weekly pay.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous experience in educational or healthcare settings preferred.
• At least 1 year of experience with individuals with special needs who display challenging/ aggressive behaviors.
• College coursework in psychology, education, social work or related field preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care activities including bathing, oral hygiene, meals, dressing and ambulation.

Responsibilities:
