Job summary

Highland Behavioral Health in California is hiring a part-time Behavioral Caregiver to join our compassionate team on the night shift. Earn a $2.00 per hour shift differential for hours 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM while helping residents with daily living activities, medication support, and supervision in accordance with Title 22.

Must have HS diploma or GED; prior caregiving or mental health experience preferred; valid First Aid; California driver's license if driving is required; ability to pass

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Previous caregiving or mental health experience preferred.
• Knowledge of Title 22 regulations is a plus.
• Valid First Aid certification or ability to obtain.
• Valid California Driver's License if driving is required.
• Ability to pass DOJ/FBI background clearance, TB screening, and health clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate care and supervision in accordance with Title 22 regulations.
• Assist residents with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, housekeeping, and medication support.
• Support residents in achieving their individual care and treatment goals.
• Monitor resident well-being and report changes to the care team.
• Transport residents to appointments and community activities, as needed.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive living environment.

Position: Part-Time
Night Shift Differential: Earn an additional $2.00/hour for shifts worked between 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM.

What You'll Do
