Job summary

Point Quest in Anaheim is seeking a Behavioral Aide II to support instructional plans for students with diverse needs. You will assist teachers with implementing IEPs and BIPs, provide targeted ABA-based support, and help monitor student progress throughout the day.

This role requires clearances, reliability, and the ability to work alongside educators in a dynamic school or treatment setting. The position involves travel within the assigned region and occasional substitute coverage for BA I-II

Qualifications

• Education: HS Diploma or GED required for BA I-II; Bachelor's degree for BA III.
• Experience in school or treatment setting with students needing behavioral support.
• DOJ/FBI Live Scan Background & TB Clearance required.
• Preferred: Pro-ACT, CPI and/or CPR certifications.

Responsibilities

• Support Educational Plans and implement IEPs and BIP.
• Provide instructional assistance tailored to individual student needs.
• Travel to different locations within 30 miles one-way, as assigned.
• Work a 6.5 hour shift Mon-Fri 6:00 AM–4:30 PM, depending on assignment.
• Respond to emergencies using Pro-ACT/CPI techniques.
• Supervise students during breaks, meals, transport, and bathroom use.
• Engage in recreational activities and ABA-based behavioral modeling.
• Record daily data on behavior, skills, incidents, and objectives.
• Communicate with supervisors and staff about student status.
• Substitute as BA I-II when needed to maintain instruction continuity.
