Eleutheria seeks a Behavioral Aide Floater to support students across multiple Sacramento area schools during the 26/27 school year. The full-time role pays $21.00–$23.00 per hour and follows a school schedule with roughly 6.5-hour shifts.

You will travel between sites, assist with IEPs/BIPs, and apply ABA techniques to reinforce positive behaviors while tracking daily progress. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, and 401(k).

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• DOJ/FBI Live Scan Background Clearance and TB Clearance.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Strong communication skills and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Support implementation of IEPs and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs).
• Provide individualized instructional assistance (paraprofessional).
• Travel to multiple school sites (30+ miles one-way).
• Respond to crisis situations using Pro-ACT and CPI.
• Supervise students during transitions, meals, transportation, and breaks.
• Facilitate and engage students in recreational and educational activities.
• Model and reinforce positive behaviors using ABA techniques.
• Record and maintain daily data on behavior and progress.
• Communicate with supervisors, teachers, and staff regarding student needs.

What You’ll Do

• Support implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) Provide individualized instructional assistance tailored to student needs (paraprofessional/ instructional aide)
• Travel to multiple school sites (30+ miles one-way) within the assigned region
• Respond to crisis situations using Pro-ACT and/or CPI intervention strategies
• Supervise students during transitions, meals, transportation, and breaks (student supervision/ school support)
• Facilitate and engage students in recreational and educational activities
• Model and reinforce positive behaviors using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques
• Record and maintain accurate daily data on behavior, progress, and incidents (data tracking/ documentation)
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, teachers, and support staff regarding student needs and progress

What We’re Looking For

Must Have

• High School Diploma or GED
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• DOJ/FBI Live Scan Background Clearance and TB Clearance
• Strong communication skills and reliable
• At least 18 years of age

Preferred

• Experience in school or treatment settings
• Pro-ACT, CPI, and/or CPR certification
• Familiarity with Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques
• 1–3 years of experience working with students with behavioral or special needs

Physical Demands:

• Environment: Occasional exposure to dust, pollen, and fumes.
• Activity: Frequent engagement in tasks such as reaching, handling, standing, walking, and lifting items.
• Sensory: Ability to perform essential job functions with or without assistive devices or accommodations, including working in moderate to high noise levels.
